September 21st Week in Review
We hope you had a great weekend! Welcome to Monday.
Daily Screening Please do the daily screening questionnaire each morning before coming to school.
Delivery of Lunches and Water Bottles As per the CMOH directive, no visitors, including parents are allowed in schools at this time. Please ensure all lunches (and utensils) and water bottles come to school with your child in the morning. We cannot allow parents to deliver these items during the day as outlined in our reopening plan. Make it a part of your morning routine, along with your School Screening Questionnaire to ensure your child has everything they need for the day.
Your child’s teacher will be sending you information from St. Mary’s Elementary pertaining to the school, as well as specific information regarding your child’s class on Wednesday, Sept. 23. On Thursday, Sept 24, your child’s teacher will be in their Google Classroom for a Q and A session from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
This year, we have one open position for a parent representative and, therefore, we will be holding a school council election. A nomination form is included at the end of this memo or we can send a paper copy home with your child upon request. To be eligible for the election, you must be the parent/guardian of a student at the school. Only parents/guardians can nominate and vote for parents/guardians.
Nomination forms must be emailed (please contact the school for an alternate method of delivery, if required) to the school secretary on or before Wednesday, September 23, 2020. A list of candidates and details of the voting process will be sent to all parents/guardians after the nominations have closed.
Terry Fox Walk
We will be holding our annual Terry Fox Walk on Friday, September 25. Each class will do the walk individually, during the day. If you would like to make a donation to this cause, please feel free to do so online at terryfox.org
